How does the treatment work

After cleaning the skin, an anesthetic cream (Emla/Anesderm) is applied to the areas to be treated if necessary.

You apply the anaesthetic cream at home, which must be left to work for about 30-60 minutes (you must purchase the cream yourself from the pharmacy beforehand).

The skin can then be treated. After the treatment, I will give you a cream to promote healing and aftercare. In addition, you should use sun protection SPF for 4-8 weeks. 50 be used.

What happens after the treatment

At first, the treated skin area resembles a graze. The following day, the skin may swell slightly. One to two days after the treatment, crusts or scabs will form, which must not be scratched off under any circumstances. After three to four days, the crusts will fall off.

What side effects can a treatment have

The treatment has hardly any serious side effects. Smaller areas of skin heal quickly and usually without complications. Larger areas can swell for one to three days. The crust that forms on these areas of skin falls off just a few days later. By the 8th day at the latest, all of the crusts have fallen off. After that, the skin is pink for about two to three weeks, as a so-called erythema develops on the treated skin, but this subsides on its own.

How long does the result last?

Treatment with the plasma pen permanently reduces excess skin, but the natural aging process cannot be stopped.

Factors such as genetic disposition, light, tanning beds, smoking, alcohol, sleep, stress, diet, exercise and care have already influenced the aging process of the skin and of course continue to do so after treatment.
